The XXV edition of the Brazilian Congress of Biomedical Engineering (CBEB 2016) will happen from 17th to 20th October 2016, at Rafain Palace Hotel & Convention Center, in Foz do Iguaçu city, Paraná, Brazil.

The Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering – SBEB promotes the CBEB, which is  held once every two years. The congress is organized by researchers from a local Institution with the cooperation of all scientific community of the Biomedical Engineering field in the country.

The XXV edition of CBEB will be organized by researchers and students of the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR - Curitiba Campus), from the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (CPGEI), the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering (PPGEB), Academic Departments of Electronics (DAELN), Physics (DAFIS), Electrotechnical (DAELT), Physical Education (DAEFI), Computer Science (DAINF), Mechanics (DAMEC), among others.

The conference has the tradition of congregating academic communities, researchers, scientists of several areas, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as representatives of industry, trade and governments, so that altogether can discuss and present their ideas on the main problems of the Biomedical Engineering field in the country.

Thus, we are inviting the academic and industrial communities, researchers, scientists of any areas, undergraduate and graduate students to attend the several activities that will happen during the CBEB 2016 and to submit relevant scientific works for the development and technological innovation in health.
